Oil painting on recycled board of 7 Giant Redwood or Wellingtonia pinecones found under a huge such tree in Gelt Woods near where I live. Apparently these trees were planted around the UK to commemorate the death of the Duke of Wellington!
Painting measures 29 x 22 cm, board is 3mm thick. The board is recycled and has nicks, marks and rough edges, which add to the interest and texture of the painting.
